It all started with a curious cat.
One day, while I was painting at home, my partner came back from work to find paint in pretty much every room and we couldn’t understand why. After a little detective work, we discovered the culprit: our cat, fast asleep in the corner, paws covered in paint.
That moment became a spark of inspiration. I decided to capture it and painted a small black cat stepping out of a blob of pink paint. That playful little painting became the very first Splat, marking the beginning of a collection that celebrates creativity, curiosity, and happy accidents.
Each Splat is a mix of spontaneity and intention, combining thick, textured blobs of paint that take on a life of their own with carefully painted characters that bring their colourful worlds to life.
